Recent Work History
Originally hired for the creation of HTML email and the continued development of PHPList for the Corporation. When development was cancelled, job duties morphed into general web maintenance and project management. Became the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) specialist in early 2008, and occasional business analysis and technology assessment requests became regular job duties around this time. Currently performing a number of duties across multiple disciplines.
Originally a position updating a preexisting page; later, in charge of a complete redesign. Utilized principles of information architecture, usability, and accessibility. Technology used was primarily DHTML generated by PHP and MySQL with minor Perl use. Duties involved interacting with everyone in the department, attending meetings and being a major contributor in decisions involving technology or the web. Additional topics include writing user documentation and help pages, as well as the development of a large, secure, user-friendly custom CMS to allow non-coders to alter the department site.
