I have been working for years in web-related fields. I started learning HTML in 2000 and began scripting sites in 2003. Although I have a relatively strong background in web development (PHP, Perl, MySQL for example), I'm most interested in how your visitors interact with the page, and have experience with web design, usability, accessibility, and information architecture. I also have a basic, beginner's level of skill in graphic design, and my current employer has had me working on search engine optimization and performing business analysis.

I have good interpersonal skills and I consider clear, open communication necessary for any successful endeavor. English is my primary language, and I have exceptionally strong written skills. I also perform well in meetings and while giving presentations. People I have worked with are consistently happy with not only my technical skill, but my ability to meet their needs, understand their goals, and explain my approach and the rational behind the resulting product.

I live and work in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area.
